Japan

Description

In this episode we discuss the Japanese "holiday" of White Day, and how Valentines day in Japan differs from the rest of the world. In our 'I didn't know that' section, we each tell the other something that we think they didn't know about Japan. In Jay's "Tech sec" segment, Jay talks about the technological side of creating a site built around podcasts, and how we submit the podcasts to iTunes.

And finally we reflected about the Great Tohoku Earthquake in Japan in 2011, as the previous day was the sixth anniversary of the quake. This podcast is titled Japan, as that's essentially what it's about.

I second the recommendation! Not only is the food good, but the staff is friendly and very keen to educate their customers about their food.

So here are the pics from my 5 hour session in the kitchen making return sweets for my students just prior to the podcast. Easy recipe but you have to have an oven which not a lot of people own in Japan actually.

The final product!
Homemade cupcake and cookies. Special thanks to my wife who honestly did most of the work.
